  Daniel Haston was a simple early American pioneer whose life produced an extensive legacy, through the many thousands of people who have descended from him and his wife, whose name we don't even know for sure. The national origin of Daniel's ancestors is still a mystery to us. His place of birth, the "for sure" name of his wife or wives, a complete list of his children, and many facts regarding his Revolutionary War service still elude us.
