In searching for middle name of Hasten being found in my Rowland /Littreal family name i found a reference to a Capt. Peter Haston in the pension files that i had saved of John Bolen states that he served in the Minute Men of Henry Co Va. (reference to Peter Haston ) He states that he was Called to Henry Co Court House where he was ordered to from Henry Co Court house to Bedford Court House under Capt. Peter Haston and served between two and three weeks in guarding prisoners. My interest in this was my grgrgrgrandfather was named Peter Hasten Rowland and his wife is Nancy Hasten Littrell. But thought i would post this to the site. Couldn't find any record of this Peter Haston serving in the Va. Militia . maybe you can Phyllis
